The foundation of good health is excellent preventative care. We feel regular well-child visits are essential in building a partnership with your family in order to truly understand your child and their needs. We will carefully follow your child’s growth and development, assess environmental factors and risks and ensure immunizations are current.

Rami Sunallah MD, FAAP

Dr. Sunallah is a board certified pediatrician by the American Academy of Pediatrics with extensive experience in rendering medical care for children from the newborn age up through the age of 18.

He completed a pediatric residency program at University of Toledo in Toledo, OH. Dr. Sunallah also completed a 3-year fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, AL. He was the Chief Fellow during his last year of fellowship, a simulator instructor and taught pediatric residents, nurses, medical and physician assistant students. Dr. Sunallah is also associated with the pediatric emergency departments at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center and the Women’s Hospital of Texas.

During his time at the University of Toledo, Dr. Sunallah received several awards including the Most Outstanding Second and Third year resident awards consecutively, which are awarded by fellow residents. He also received the Excellence in General Pediatrics award, which is a nomination granted by the university attendings.
In 2014, he was awarded by the American Academy of Pediatrics National Conference and Exhibition, Section on Emergency Medicine in San Diego, CA, for Outstanding Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellow Research paper presentation. While at the University of Alabama at Birmingham he was also awarded the Pediatric subspecialty research award, which is given to Pediatric fellows for best research of the year.

He enjoys all aspects of pediatrics but his special interest is in acute and critical care management. Dr. Sunallah happily married with two kids, Sophia and Ryan. His interests outside of practice include boating, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
She obtained her BSN, MSN and Post-MSN from the University of Texas Medical Branch. Dr. Peck previously held the Will Dean Bivens Singleton Professorship of Pediatric Nursing at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Dr. Peck is currently serving as an Associate Professor of Nursing for the graduate nursing programs at Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi. She also holds active certifications as a Nurse Educator and Clinical Nurse Leader. Dr. Peck is also affiliated with the pediatric hospitalist group at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Peck is a Fellow in the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and served a four year term on the national executive board. She is currently the Texas State Representative for the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Peck is engaged in efforts to combat domestic human trafficking of minors and serves as the Lead Medical Consultant for UnBound Houston and the national chair for the Alliance for Care Coordination of Children in Human Trafficking.
Dr. Peck has received numerous awards including Outstanding Nurse of the year from the Houston Chronicle Salute to Top 100 Nurses, Gold Medalist: Excellence in Nursing Education Award from the Good Samaritan Foundation, the Innovation in Clinical Practice Award from the University of Alabama, and Faculty of the Year Award from the University of Texas Medical Branch. She has authored several clinical manuscripts, serves on the editorial board for both nursing journals and consumer pediatric magazines, and frequently presents to national audiences on issues of pediatric health, health policy, technology in health care and prevention of human trafficking.

Dr. Peck is married to an engineer working in the aerospace industry, and they have four school-aged children. She enjoys traveling with her family, biking, reading, watching baseball, and volunteering in the children's ministry at her church.
